I recently completed the 10‑hour Virtual TEFL Course with Michelle Benson, and honestly it exceeded all my expectations. Michelle is an outstanding tutor — warm, engaging, and able to build rapport instantly. With 30 years of teaching experience, she is a true fountain of knowledge.Having completed the 300‑hour TEFL Advanced Diploma last year, I found this course particularly invaluable because it is so practical and hands‑on. I only wish I had known about it sooner. It has given me far more confidence in teaching a full lesson implementing the PPP method, sharing slides/images on Zoom, and eliciting effectively from students. Preparation was a major focus for this, and I was genuinely inspired by the excellent PowerPoint presentations and creative games produced by my fellow students.Michelle even managed to simplify some of the notoriously difficult grammar tenses — no small achievement. I have just completed an Advanced Level 5 TEFL Diploma course and I am very glad to have enrolled in this course. I can't wait to apply the lessons I learnt here in my classes, as soon as I start teaching again. During this journey of almost six months, I have learned a lot and enjoyed the way the lessons are designed and presented. They’ve made teaching easy. Lessons are creative, some are interactive with a lot of activities and quiz at the end of each module. Authentic materials and external sources for further readings are provided. There are written assessments at the end of each course to pass it.You have a virtual course in front of you to complete within a timeframe and it's up to you how you manage your time, so it's flexible for those who work. If you have commitment towards your goals along with passion for teaching and discipline to study, you can finish the course successfully within the established timeframe and pursue your dream of teaching English as a foreign language in a better manner.There are academic tutors who support you constantly when you are in need, there are weekly or fortnightly webinars / sessions that help the graduates with job searches.I strongly recommend TEFL Institute to anyone who wants to get a TEFL Diploma and start teaching English.
