If you are serious about teaching English as a foreign language in Poland, you will need to be trained. You have a lot of different qualifications at your fingertips, and every language school or country seems to have a different idea of what a TEFL certification looks like. However, nearly all of them agree on one thing – you need to have studied for at least 120 hours if you are going to get enough experience and knowledge to be an effective teacher. That’s where we come in. We offer access to a 120-hour accredited TEFL qualification.
The typical employer looks for 120 hours of study from a prospective hire to ensure they have the knowledge and skills necessary to teach effectively. You are welcome to study more – we offer a 180-hour TEFL course specifically for that purpose – but 120 hours is the minimum time required for effective study.
The course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to become a valued TEFL teacher. You can complete it in as little as four weeks if you wish, but we offer a six-month study period for all students, as we understand the value of being able to study and balance other commitments at the same time.
The course materials provided will cover a range of different formats – from videos to audio along with classic written material, it’s possible to learn no matter your preferred style or method.
Throughout the course we also strive to ensure you know how the teaching process will work. We encourage all of our learners to start making their own strategies for use in the classroom – to best prepare you for the career ahead.
The entry requirements are minimal for the course. You will be expected to have a C1 level of proficiency in English, and access to the online platform.
