What's Included

4-5 days orientation upon arrival in Thailand. Learn about Thai language, culture and the school environment.
Excursion to The first Capital City of Thailand - The Sukhothai Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
1-year contract in a Thai school - one semester contracts are available on occassion.
Minimum salary of 30,000 Thai baht per month
24/7 support from our English-speaking partners in Thailand
Basic accident insurance
Full visa processing support and cost reimbursement upon successful completion of a 1-year contract,
Subsidized sightseeing excursions in the North of Thailand via teacher meet-ups once per semester.

What’s required before applying?

Passport holder from one of the following countries: USA, Canada, Australia, UK, Ireland, South Africa or New Zealand or be a fluent English Speaker from a European country (EU) with a TOEIC score of 900+ or IELTS 7.5+
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
TEFL qualification (included)
Available for a 12-month contract
No criminal record
22 – 60 years of age.

What do I need to organise?

International flights
Police check: Each applicant must have a clean criminal record
Budget: Each applicant should have the equivalent of 1,000 USD for the first month
Travel insurance: Each successful applicant should purchase individual comprehensive cover for travel & medical insurance
Vaccines: Consult your local Medical Centre.
Legalisation of bachelor’s degree : Guidance will be provided but please ensure you have the original copy of your degree readily available before applying. If you are in your final year of studies, please speak to our team.
Visa: You’ll be provided with the paperwork to obtain a Non-B Visa from the Thai Embassy in your home country. The cost is your responsibility; however, it is inexpensive.
The orientation fee is 6,000 THB, to be paid upon arrival in Thailand at our in-country partner's HQ.

Your Teaching Experience

A typical week consists of 18 to 25 classes from Monday to Friday, with most weekends free (great!). Classes are typically 50 minutes long, with instruction focusing mostly on English for Communication. You should create them to be engaging and enjoyable.

You may expect to devote 15 to 20 hours each week to class planning, grading, and extracurricular activities. Most schools employ a substantial number of foreign teachers, and most cities have a sizable community of international educators and ex-pats.

I recently completed the 10‑hour Virtual TEFL Course with Michelle Benson, and honestly it exceeded all my expectations. Michelle is an outstanding tutor — warm, engaging, and able to build rapport instantly. With 30 years of teaching experience, she is a true fountain of knowledge.Having completed the 300‑hour TEFL Advanced Diploma last year, I found this course particularly invaluable because it is so practical and hands‑on. I only wish I had known about it sooner. It has given me far more confidence in teaching a full lesson implementing the PPP method, sharing slides/images on Zoom, and eliciting effectively from students.
