Modules One-Two:

Module One: How are Words Formed?

Have you ever stopped to think about how words are formed and how parts of words come together to make the language you speak? In this module, we take a look at how words form, how words have become part of the English language, and how words have evolved and changed over time. You’ll come away feeling ready to teach your students with this module.

Module Two: How to Arrange Words into Sentences

You might be surprised to know that there are over 171,000 words in the English language. Luckily, we only ask you to teach a few hundred of those at a time. In the second module of the course, you will learn how to teach students about building words into sentences and also know the skills necessary to help your pupils build grammatically correct statements ranging from simple sentences to complex ones.

Module Three: Time to Talk Tenses

You’re probably familiar with the three basic tenses – Past, Present and Future. However, did you know that there are as many as 13 tenses (depending on who you ask)? We help you to understand all of them and how they relate to your lessons as an English teacher. Your future students will thank you for paying attention to this one, as you’ll be able to explain your newfound knowledge to them!

Module Four: How to Teach Advanced Grammar

The majority of entry-level TEFL positions ask you to focus on delivering conventional English lessons. These types of lessons are a fantastic way to build up experience as a new teacher, both here in the UK and online. However, you won’t be focusing too much on grammatical theory. When you’re ready to boost your income and improve your skill set, you’ll be drawing on this module.

We teach you how to explain the difference between tenses, how to teach grammar at the highest levels, and help you construct activities which will help students consolidate their learning.

The Vital Consular:

So, this specific verification process offered by the Vital Consular differs from an accreditation a provider would typically receive. We are a verified UK TEFL Provider, which means that the courses we offer are all fit for purpose, and you can study at any point and walk away with a suitable qualification which can be used overseas. However, the Vital Consular scheme takes things one step further. It means that all scheme members – those who get a qualification – have their certification authenticated and recognised by the UK Government.
