As part of our accreditation process, we work with Highfields. They fully accredited the level 5 180-hour TEFL qualification that we offer. You will usually find that this qualification is run in conjunction with one of our main courses, like the 180-hour diploma.

Thanks to them, we offer a qualification which is recognised in South Africa and the rest of the world. They operate here in the UK with us and work closely with the official regulatory bodies used by the UK government. We understand that probably doesn’t mean a lot to you, so the bottom line is that you can use this qualification anywhere in the world to help you apply for jobs and progress your career. 

The Accreditation Council for Distance Learning

The ACDL is a special body which focuses on accrediting courses from distance learning providers. They maintain high levels of quality decided by a proprietary set of criteria, and they have awarded us with accreditation – a fact we’re very proud of. We have an accreditation number of 2854-2540. The Vital Consular:

The Vital Consular is not an accreditation, technically speaking. It is a verification seal, which is different. However, don’t be fooled – the Vital Consular is still important. 

As you may know, here at the TEFL Institute, we’re a verified TEFL provider. This means that any course we offer is recognised around the world and is designed for the purpose of applying for jobs and visas. You can use them in South Africa or abroad – it is up to you. However, thanks to this verification seal specifically, we have our courses authenticated by the UK Government. 

So, if you go to somewhere like Vietnam or China, you’ll be able to get your qualifications authenticated with no problem. This makes getting a job a lot easier because in those types of countries specifically if your qualifications aren’t recognised by a legitimate authority, they won’t be accepted, so you will have to go and get new qualifications.
