Was a fun class, and Michelle Benson as a tutor brought lots of energy and good ideas for us to follow the teaching plan keeping it fluid and having everyone feeling engaged with the material (which is hard to do online). I’m on assessment two out of three with the 190 hour level 5 diploma with the TEFL institute of Ireland. I am loving it so far and the flexibility of doing it is great and really suits my schedule. The course is affordable and they usually have offers on courses online. The completion time is 6 months which is an ideal amount of time. The tutors are great and very helpful if you have any questions. The course is challenging but achievable and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get into the world of teaching.

Your TEFL course is marked through continuous assessment with end of module knowledge tests. You’ll need to score 100% to pass, and unlock the next module. If you don’t pass first time, you’ll be able to re-sit at no extra cost, so don’t worry.

How Long Does A TEFL Course Take?

The time taken to complete a TEFL course depends on how much study time you can dedicate each week and which duration of course or training package you choose.
