What will I learn
Business English is a specialist area within the TEFL industry – it isn’t covered in any of our normal qualifications and is something you must do in addition to other qualifications. This qualification gives you greater earning potential because most TEFL teachers don’t have the necessary skills.
English fluency is a skill that workplaces like for their staff. However, business English is a bit more specialist and complicated. Therefore, as businesses are looking to expand their horizons by taking services and products to the global stage, they are looking for professionals to come in and teach everyone business English. As a TEFL teacher, you can pick jobs with this.
Once you’ve finished our 30-hour course, you will have a skill set that will improve your reputation and earning potential. Not only will you be able to work online from your home in South Africa, but you can also work in person. This qualification is suitable for schools and businesses so that you can get a job with a language school or you can work directly with a company.
Course Content
Business English is a niche subject, and the content you teach will be specific to business culture. Therefore, you must understand the terminology and how it relates to your learners. You can work online and in person with this qualification.
If you want to teach this course content, you need to have a TEFL or TESOL qualification, an authentic Teaching Business English certification or a recognized business background.

Accreditation
The 30-hour Teaching Business English course is usually completed in tandem with our Level 5 180-hour TEFL course, and that qualification is supported, accredited and approved by Highfield Qualifications. The group works with Ofqual, a regulator in the UK and is the gold standard for accreditations.
Don’t worry about the details, though. Even though this is a UK regulator, their accreditation is good globally, and you can use the qualification anywhere in the world. We suggest people incorporate it into their resume when searching for a job or visa. If you need more information, then you can look at the Ofqual website or take a look at the Highfield Level 5 Certificate in Teaching as a Foreign Language.
The Accreditation Council for Distance Learning
The Accreditation Council for Distance Learning is a provider that has worked hard to build a reputation in the US as a recognised accreditor of distance learning. Providers who work hard and follow their guidelines can get accreditation. We’ve managed to earn accreditation from these wonderful folks, and our accreditation entry is 2854-2540.
The Vital Consular is not an accreditation but rather a verification process. As a TEFL provider in the UK, we are fully verified and authenticated. We have worked hard to earn this accolade and are proud of what we have achieved. You can take any of the courses we offer and go anywhere worldwide to start a career, or you can work online from your home in South Africa. The qualification is valid for entry into other countries. The Vital Consular is different from this process. It is a scheme through which the UK government approves every course we offer. It’s a special verification that most providers don’t have.
This qualification is vital if you try to work in places like Taiwan or China. These places specifically require you to authenticate your documents when you apply for a visa or a work permit. The scheme is useful because the British Government is a recognised body, and their approval helps you get the visa. If you don’t have an authentic qualification, you may struggle with finding one – we help save you the trouble of doing that.
Our academic team is one of the finest in the world and has secured us a position as a globally recognised TEFL provider. We work around the clock to deliver accreditations and verifications that you can use to get the career you need.
