Myanmar is a true Asian teaching experience for anyone with the desire to dive right into living in Asia! You now have the opportunity to teach English in Myanmar for 5 months as a TEFL intern. Taking a hot-air balloon flight over the picture-perfect mountains, serene lakes, and ancient Buddhist monasteries is the best way to get to know your new home.
Who better to share your first experiences with than the TEFL teachers you’ll meet in Yangon for the duration of your 5-day orientation? While teaching in Myanmar, you’ll feel like a local celebrity! It’s possible that you’re the first foreigner the villagers have seen.
Burmese people are friendly and their food is delicious, so you’ll never be without a nutritious meal or a new friendly face to meet. You’ll complete our 120-hour express TEFL course before beginning your Myanmar journey, so you’ll be ready to lead your class as a confident leader. You can relax once you get off the plane, knowing that our in-country team will be waiting to pick you up from Yangon International Airport (RGN) and drop you off at orientation.

Without a doubt the best way to see Bagan is by hot air balloon! Bagan’s balloons have become a symbol of the region, transporting many travellers on once-in-a-lifetime journeys. Bagan’s ballooning season extends from early October through the middle of April.
