Two days of in person TEFL training held during a weekend lead by an experienced TEFL instructor who has lived and worked around the world. Your instructor will tend to be a coach or a facilitator in the learning process as they help prepare you to teach English abroad. The seminar is approved for 25 CPDU credits by the Illinois State Board of Education.
Typically there are 8-to-10 students in your class. Students learn by doing and through peer coaching. They are assigned to various and different teams throughout the weekend as they complete assignments on.
Your training starts the moment you enter the classroom. Everyone is given the opportunity to present and talk in front of their peers and the instructors. Upon arrival, students will give a brief introduction of themselves while their peers and instructors seek to learn more about their background, experiences, and motivation for going abroad.

By the end of this course, students will have a strong command of various methodologies used in the EFL instruction along with various strategies to keep their students motivated while embracing cultural differences abroad. Many of our students ask and want to repeat because it is highly informative and involves many learning activities.
Upon completion of the course, your instructor will schedule an appointment with one of Placement Advisors. The Placement Advisors will assist in you in locating an ESL job abroad. They will provide you with the name of contacts that we have developed from over the many years we have been in business. These contacts are highly reputable and many of them will hire our students on the spot just because we referred you
