Summer English Teaching Programs 2010
Teach English abroad this summer in Europe and South America with the TEFL Institute. Summer teaching jobs are short term, structured and independent experiences for 1 – 2 months. This is a great transition to live and work overseas for a short term to experience a foreign culture as a local, not just a tourist. TEFL Institute graduates are able to use their TEFL certification to stay on to teach English in the country, return for another summer program or teach abroad in the future.
Note: These programs are only for TEFL Institute students. See requirements for TEFL Institute certification class requirements for each program. No exceptions regardless of your experience or educational background.
If you wish to take any of our TEFL courses either Online TEFL or International TEFL and then teach abroad for more than the summer, these international country profiles to consider for you overseas adventure.
Teach English in old world Spain for 4 weeks at summer language camps away in the beautiful mountains of sunny Spain while working on your tan and Spanish skills. Enjoy the European culture while working with young learners at overnight camps.
Teach English in beautiful Chile for 10 weeks in smaller towns in the breathtaking country on the west coast of South America. You will teach in the public schools to children, live in a homestay with local residents and fully immerse yourself in a rare opportunity to be a local citizen. This program is run by the Ministry of Education of Chile in coordination with the United Nations as part of the Chile Opens Doors Program.
All summer programs are on a limited availability and will fill up. Advance registration is highly encouraged. Programs filled 6 months in advance last year. Please call to see if there are any spots available.
